My husband's dad and step-mom gave me my first pair of Pomeranians - Pooky on October 31, 2007, and Piper on May 6, 2009. My first litter was born May 21, 2010, and thus my journey as a breeder began. It was my dream from age 8 to be a breeder, and it sprang from my mom's dog having puppies a couple of times a year. At age 10, I was pulling a wagon all over my hometown of Huxley, Iowa, asking people I met along the way if they would like to buy a puppy. I sold one that day and made a friend that I still have to this day. I breed for the health, temperament, and quality of the breed. I started health testing using Embark in 2020 and have learned a lot about health, traits, and color genetics over the past 16 years. My journey includes becoming a grandma in 2008, a divorce in 2013, finding love again in 2014, and all of my children moving out, making me an empty nester in 2024. I am here for the lifetime of every puppy I home and have enjoyed the many relationships I have built with my clientele.
